TUGG screenings selling fast
We are excited to announce Putuparri And The Rainmakers will be touring theatres on the east coast of Australia.
Through the Cinema On Demand platform TUGG, our film will be making its official Sydney premiere on Wed 10th February at 6:30pm. Hosted by the Rev. Bill Crews Charitable Trust, a Q&A will follow the film with director Nicole Ma, co-writer / cinematographer / co-editor Paul Elliott and none other than the star of our film, Tom ‘Putuparri’ Lawford. The tour continues the next day in the country’s capital as our film will be screened at the National Museum of Australia in Canberra at the Lakeside Amphitheatre on Thurs 11th Feb at 8pm. The screening will be part of the Encounters Exhibition Film Series and you can click here to secure your tickets.
We return for a matinee screening in Western Sydney on Sat 13th Feb at 2pm at the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre with a Q&A with director Nicole Ma and Tom ‘Putuparri’ to follow. We are very happy to be able to screen our documentary on the anniversary of former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s historic ‘Sorry’ speech.
And finally, the east coast tour ends with our official Brisbane premiere! This special screening at New Farm cinemas on Mon 15th Feb at 6:30pm will be followed by a Q&A with director Nicole Ma and chief participant, Tom ‘Putuparri’ Lawford. Click here to make your booking.
